TUSAL

Greetings! I'm late for the TUSAL showing this month. Where does the time go? I have been stitching a bit here and there, but my new job has definitely put a crimp in my stitching and designing time. I am thankful for my job and I'm not complaining really, just stating the fact of the matter.

I am disappointed though that I haven't felt very creative lately and so haven't made much progress on several designs that I have in the works. In the evenings when I have the time and energy, I have chosen instead to work on "Leaping Cat" from La D Da and "Easter Frills" from With Thy Thread and Needle.

My TUSAL jar with current works in progress.
(Picture taken in the last bit of sunshine before sunset.)

Notice the foreign object on the left side of the picture? Any guesses as to what it is?

If you guessed a cat's foot, you are correct!

The foot belongs to Zissou (a.k.a. Zee-Zee or Mr. Z).
Typical cat behavior! He has to be into whatever I am doing. The little ham, he even looks like he's giving me the raspberry to boot!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world. Please come back and visit again. Take care, and until next time, happy stitches!

Love Leaping Cat! Have never seen that one before, very nice.

Your cat is so pretty! Cats do like to be in the middle of things don't they, I know mine do.

Love the design you are working on - I haven't seen that before either. Your scroll frame is lovely.... I haven't seen one so nice as that in the shops over here!

Mr Z is gorgeous.... cats always want to see what you're doing! My stitching always ends up with bits of cathair stuck in it somewhere!!

Mr Z was just taking the whole Leaping Cat thing literally right?! He's a beauty and so is the stitching. I'm really enjoying seeing your progress on this one.

So glad you're able to fit a little stitching in with your new job, Robin! I love your WIPS and Mr. Z is so gorgeous (and he knows it, too, doesn't he?!)...

Your WIP is lovely. I know what you mean about work..even though I only work 3 days, it seems those are the days I really want to stitch all day! Your cat is handsome....I am sure he knows it !

What a lovely update post, Robin! I see your Mr. Z has the same sort of (c)attitude as my Mr. Pantoef. Don't you just love cats?
Leaping Cat is a stunner!

Oh, how I love your WIP. Leaping Cat looks fab. Poo on work interfering with stitching time. I'm in the same boat!

Love your ORT report, including sweet kitty paws!

Ooh; gorgeous pics and cat-meddling, too. :D He sure is a beauty.

Hope you're enjoying the spring and that you start enjoying your creative side more soon, too. :D
